Firewall is already disabled. Still same issue.

 

Hi Nagarajan,

 

I had followed below mentioned steps:

Attempt 1 :


Create New Rules and allow all the port connection to the server and client.


Windows Firewall with Advance security  --> Inbound Rules-->Create New Rule--> Select Port Option click Next Button --> (TCP & All local Port option need to select )-->click Next Button select allow the connection -->  Again Click next--> provide rule name as "SAP B1" finish it.

 

Still Same Error.

 

Attempt 2:

  • I have restarted " Sap Business One SLD Services in Services" in services.
  • And started SAP B1 Service manager --> License Manager --> Configuration security--> after click it will open the Landscape Directory web page --> provide B1siteuser ID and Password.
  • Open the web page and select the server and data base.
  • Now again Open the Database. it will work

 

While following these steps, when entering B1Siteuser and Password, getting following System Information.

I had checked SLD service is running.

Please suggest.

To use BPM functionality we need to install separate SID or we can use ccBPM functionality which is available in SAP PI 7.31 (DUAL stack), right?

 

Could you pls share me how we can check ccBPM functionality.

SAP Fiori missing icons

Hi experts,

 

I have the Fiori Launchpad with some application, all work fine except the icons... I have not icons neither home, neither app, neither anywhere.

 

What is the problem?

 

My system is 7.40 with SAP_UI SP12 and SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA SP7

Manish,

Breaking into SAP for beginners is very difficult.

Generally, for an analyst to add value in SAP (any module), one needs 3 to 5 years of SAP work experience. Therefore companies are not interested in hiring beginners and only interested in experienced SAP professionals.

 

The key is to keep studying the SAP theory and practicing in sandbox.

Read the FI threads in forums like SCN, Toolbox etc. this will give you exposure to real time issues.

 

Perseverance and hard work are essential. And treat gathering knowledge as a victory rather than measuring self by employed / unemployed status.

You can analyse the performance by taking the trace by using the transaction code  ST12 with business transaction before / after archive, and  reorganization.

You can terminate the employee in the current company and hire the person in the new company.

 

Otherwise, it is as Sven said, you need to use Management of Global Employment (MGE).

Check if Concurrent Employment (CE) applies to your scenario.  Of course here as per SAP, the need is that  an employee may be assigned simultaneously to different positions within the same company.

Hi Pratyusha,

 

Please maintain Table V_T510 in order to default the values in IT0008. Also make sure that the wage type which you want to default in IT0008 are with characteristic INVAL A.

 

If the wage type are of INVAL B, C, D, then you no need to maintain values in this table, instead you can se table V_T539J.

Hello Karolina,

 

Opening caveat .... I'm not a Sybase person.

 

In your error you can see that there is an issue setting the identity property for column CRR_ID on table "/1CRR/LT00001387" which is the logging table related to table /ASU/SSMCONTENTP.

 

Now what you need to determine is why the CRR_ID (incremental number) cannot be updated/set for "/1CRR/LT00001387".

 

1. As a cross check, ask your DBA to check the columns of table "/1CRR/LT00001386" and see what value is assigned to CRR_ID for this table. Logically it would be 1386.

 

2. Ask you DBA to check the DB logs to see if anything is being logged during the failed creation of "/1CRR/LT00001387" eg: space issues, 1387 is in use etc... In the SQL cache I would imagine you could see the SQL statement that was executed.

 

3. Even though I doubt it has anything to do with your problem, please check table /ASU/SSMCONTENTP with tx: SE11 and reactivate it if necessary.

 

4. Try repeating the phase with the INIT option (nothing to lose by trying).

HI Tom,

 

If you can learn CRM it will be a best option as per my suggestion, because you already have experience in technical side, so if you learn CRM Functional, It will be good in future. Along with CRM functional try to learn CRM technical as well it help you a lot and you will have more demand in the market.

 

Finally decision is yours, This is just my suggestion.

That's right! install Java 1.8 will create the directory and file C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\Javapath\ this is linked to jre path.but Java 1.7 does't do that  I don't know why , but when i installed Java 1.7 then I resovle the problem.

Hi Sri BW,

Can you please provide more information.

Is the information "We have BW 7.4 installed on Sy base database" correct ?


If this is the case, we cannot import BW models in HANA. The use case for BW models in HANA is to generate HANA views for BW artifacts in BW on HANA system.


So now let us consider a scenario where the end user wants to generate HANA model for BW  Infocube. For this infocube, there would be several tables generated while creating the infocube.

Once when the user tries to import the models, same tables would be used to generate HANA artifacts. ie., /BIC/* tables would be used to generate Analytic views or Calculation Views.


So if BW is not running on HANA, then this feature is not available.


Also if  BW is 7.4 SP05 and above, we can generate HANA models for BW providers from BW system itself. We need not follow the wizard to import the models.

Error at Importing Export

Dear,

 

I encounter an error as following:

 

(MPSLMGR\Administrator) id=syslib.NT.generic errno=FSL-06002

Error 1060 (The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

) in execution of a 'OpenService' function, line (88), with parameter (SAPHostControl)

 

What do I miss? I've no idea about that. Can anybody help us to fix this error?
