Delivery address is getting defaulted based on the plant address

Dear Experts/Ricardo Cavedini ,

 

We are in SRM 7 EHP 2. I am having a query where the delivery address (upon shopping cart creation) is getting defaulted based on the plant address wherein I have read the below wiki page where it has been mentioned as ship to address is not to take over the plant address

Could you please advise if there is any behavior change or it will be really helpful if you could provide some clue on where it needs to be checked from the technical perspective.

Hi Jaya,

 

Perhaps I comprehend your requirement incorrectly. In your case, you could pass a business role name (in a custom attribute) in each line item of the access request.

 

But I have a doubt though. Once request to send to GRC, it includes only technical roles/privileges. Each privilege could belong to many business roles. How do you determine which business role owner should pick up the request and approve it?

Using Header level variant config for determining the price of components (non-kmat)

Hi Experts,

 

We have a requirement where we have a variant configuration with BOM. Only higher level item is a KMAT and all the components are non-kmat. But when the higher level item config is changed we need to be able to calculate the price of non-kmat components. Is it possible through variant pricing?

 

E.g. Higher level item (KMAT)

ESU (characteristic) -- Yes (we create a non-kmat component (line 20) )

ESU no. of days -- 2  We want to use this characteristic value in the pricing of non-kmat component (line 20).

 

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Stefan,

 

The CR I opened, 781930 for this issue has been fixed.


I am not sure when the next EBF will be posted for customers but the fix should be included in the next EBF.

DI Script weird behavior

I am using script to call "SAPbobsCOM.Company" ActiveX, it works perfect in the past year.

 

In the past few days, i found a very weird behavior.

 

If i run the same script from command line, script will stop at company.Connect(); Basically, it can not connect to SAP B1 company file, but there is no error, just hang there. You can notice CPU load. I wait more than 10 minutes, the script is still hanging  there. The script can reach company.Connect(), but just can not finish connect() function.

 

But if I create a windows schedule task with the same script under same windows user, it will proceed normally as before.

 

Does SAP change some thing is the past few days to prevent ActiveX call from command line to connect to company file?

 

BTW, I tried both 9.0PL15, and 9.1PL05.

Would you be just changing the delimiter or do you have any transformation?

 

if you are just changing the delimiter, then go for a java mapping and use replace string which way you don't need to develop any ESR objects.

Hi, This is my first post.  Unfortunately it is an urgent issue.  We spent some time working on creating a new item category and sched line category to work with external procurement.  It's working really well now.  A PR is created converted to a PO when the sales order is entered automatically and when the inbound delivery occurs the items are reserved against the sales order just as we desired.

 

We have one order that appears to have been created while things weren't configured correctly.  Schedule line category CB is set so that it does not do an availability check because the items are reserved against the order.  We however are getting No control data maintained for checking group z2 and checking rule BE.  Is there away to refresh this kind of like the update button in conditions/pricing or is it just stuck in there?  Like I've said it is working ok for all new orders.  We have processed over 2 dozen orders this way now.  This one is just really old and dates back to the time we were originally configuring it.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jose,

 

What is the 0COMP_CODE for each record?

According to your transformation file, it will sum up all those records (if comp_code is all the same as well), are you getting the incorrect result in BPC?

 

take a screen shot of your results in BPC please.

Hi André,

 

what do you mean by you only want to show XX100?

You only want the user to select that member?

 

DAP (data access profile) allow users to access certain members' data, user can still see all the members in a dimension, if they selected a member that they don't have access to view its data, then they will have a blank input sheet.

 

DAP doesn't limit users to access a dimension.

Hi i have same error.

 

Solved?

 

my problem is: i have standard program and run perfectly.

 

i copied all code of standard program to a ZPROGRAM when run the program ask the parameters (same as std program) when execute i get the dump.

 

for me not apply need a TRy catch, because in std program work perfectly.

 

any advice?

Hy Cyrus,

 

Good thing that you arte familiar with the coding in infosets. I think the one way to achieve that could be you create a variable to save the last combination of ANLN1/ANLN2/KANSW. If the current record is equal the variable, you clear the KANSW of current record. That could work, I guess.
