Unfortunatelly, at this point IDM migration is not an option.
I was considering probably take one of the existing GRC 5.3 connectors and extend the connector to make it work with 10.1, I am hoping VDS is going to let me play with this without getting into too much coding modifications.
If that works, then the standard connector for the IC and VDS should complete the cycle.
Well, that is what I am hoping for. What do you think?

The user TMSADM is not locked in both systems.
I ran the report TMS_UPDATE_PWD_OF_TMSADM in 000 client of domain controller, then I entered the password of the other system, then I've got the screen Change Log of TMSADM's Password with overall return code 0000.
But when performing Check -> Connection test in TMS, I'm still getting the same error USER_TMSADM_DENIED.

Currently there is no information in the DOM about where that sap.m.Link should show up.
You added the aggregation and all the information needed to render the Link, now you need to say where. If you were creating that link in a view controller, you would use the placeAt(xxx).
I never did this by the way, just thinking logically.

Re: Entering negative Inventory opening balance
Your original transaction is Debit inventory account and credit your open balance account .
Inventory issue is credit inventory account and debit your inventory gain/loss account.
So you will have to make G/L entry to credit your inventory gain/loss account and debit your open balance account.
But remember inventory issue is using your current item cost, it might be different from the cost you enter on the open balance. If so, you will make some number changes to make things even.

Hi Jaya,
Yes I remember this is possible. You can setup a customize attribute in GRC privileges. And put the business role name into this attribute.
Try this URL, but perhaps your GRC consultant should read it instead of you.
After creating the attribute, you need to revise the GRC framework to include this attribute (business role name) in your request.
I don't have a working IDM system (with GRC integration) with me. I could not provide you more details.

Uncheck Adjust automatically. see if that helps.
Also, there is known limitation when printing to line or dot matrix printers due to the Framework and System.Drawing.Printer conversion from DEVMODE and USP10 and the whole Report rendering engine and how it all works between laser and Dot Matrix.
All I can suggest is you manually adjust the report to fit the printer. Unfortunately when it comes to Dot Matrix we are not WYSIWYG....
Try using the PrintOutputController and your own print button, it's ActiveX and can get closer...

INSERT with CONNECTION to an external Database.
Hi All,
I have to INSERT an internal table values to an external Oracle Database. The Solution I saw in Forums are with CONNECTION Addition in INSERT option with DBCON.
insert TABLE_NAME@SCHEMA CONNECTION 'PAYPROD'
from table gt_summary.
I am getting syntax error that "TABLE_NAME@SCHEMA", is unknown. It does not exist.
Can anyone help me an example with CONNECTION option in INSERT.

Re: Event Final Release of a PR triggers PR Revision
There are two guesses here, first one that the issue is very common, which I completely agree with. the second guess, that it's considered in the standard SAP, I would have to say is a bit less likely, since WS20000077 sends approval for every release level and the release code does not have any effect there (it doesn't even state which release code was set in TS20000162).
Even if the release code is transferred by the RELEASED event I would not recommend setting the last release code as a hard-coded parameter.

Standard IDM GRC integration performs risk analysis on user level only. But GRC is capable doing risk analysis on role level too. This feature is not included into the integration (which should be).
So the work around is to specify a pseudo userID when sending the access request to GRC. The solution could be adding a java class to VDS to call risk analysis web service on role level directly. This solution can also be functional if you want to read GRC business roles into IDM and ask GRC to provision business roles, but that only works for distributed provisioning scenario. I've done the workaround for a customer, but never tried the solution. The solution means a lot of effort on the development.

I wonder why crashing is coming into the picture? E.g.; why the concern? Seven subreports is not even close to what the CR engine should be able to handle. Certainly not if the subreports are in individual sections - other than the detail section.
Other than that, BI Platform has publications and you might be able to leverage those - on export to PDF(?).
