BRTools is an SAP provided tool for Oracle database administration for SAP systems running on Oracle database.
To restore the database in the way you want by using tools provided by the backup vendor or in the Oracle specific way.
If you know how to restore a database without using BRTools then you mau use that method.
Once you have restored the database then you will need to recover the database as you are using an online backup.
You can do all these things without using BRTools.
