Set the "Sales Employee" fields to the current user

Hi All,

When I open a blank sales order, the "sales employee" is set to "no sales employee" and we need to manually change it every time.   However, I would like it to be default to the current user's name every time they open up a sales Order.  I thought about using a query in UDV and link it to the field but I dont know how to write the query.

Please help or provide other possible solutions to this.
