Currently am working on that DBSL update.
I would like to add another point here, that there is a background Job /bdl/task_processor running in the system.
This job is scheduled hourly in the system. regular basis this job wont take much time but at some times it is running for long to finish where at the same time , the error log is triggering in the system.
So is there any issue with this job.
Please help.

Yes, happened the same to me "the document is not released" But I asked it to the SAP support team to give the note to me.
This is what the note says "
Select Administration >> Landscape >> right click Xsengine.
From here stop the Xsengine. Normally the Xsengine will restart automatically.
The Xsengine restart should solve the error."

I have a conceptual doubt about an activation that i have to make in a client.
The client has 3 ledgers, and wants to see all 3 ledgers integrated in co, as far as i known this could be make by the activation of parallel valuations (valuation profile). I have 3 companys all in the same controlling area. One of the companys wants to activate the retail functionatilty. So my conceptual doubts is: I know material ledger and retail are incompatible. Also i can't activated valuation profile whitout material ledger activation in all plants that belong to the same controlling area. So i want to apply note 1643198 - COGM: Errors C+ 337 and C+ 304 when activating C&V profile, that allow me to not activate material ledger in all plants that belong to the same controlling area.
Do you thinks this can be done?
COGM and retail are compatible?
Any ideas???

We had installed HR Renewal FP 4 and activated the business function HCM_ESS_WDA_1.
Only our Travel application is using WD ABAP other applications are still WD Java.
Once I activated the business function our Travel application is using Launchpad customization
instead of homepage framework. I have configured the ESS MENU in LPD_CUST for tavel
and change the create expense report, display/Print application to point in PCD page and the changes
are imported in transport . Recently we moved our changes to Q and now when I am trying
to open ESS MENU from LPD_CUST it is spinning and getting No more storage space available
and also when accessing Travel application from portal and click on Change/Display print for a trip
I am getting connection timed out error.
Does anyone got the same error.
We are using Travel as WD ABAP rest are WD ABAP.
Do I need to move other application under ESS Menu to inactive application.
Please advice.

Hi Jacob,
Managed reporting the report are saved in various folders but you don't open them directly. What you do is query the CMS for the report either by name or ID:
For unmanaged reports if you are wanting to do the same you would need to find each folder location. The best this in code is to NOT use those reports in the FRS folders and to have separate one, you will ahve to manage them if you need to keep them in sync with each other.
So for unmanaged reports you can save them anywhere you want, just don't use the FRS folders.

The fastest way with minimal downtime is to do an in-place upgrade, otherwise as suggested by Jawahar use Promotion Manager to move content to the OLD servers NEW servers.

Another way to prevent this type of SQL Injection from causing harm would be to run all of your reports using a generic "reporting" user ID in the database. If that ID is only given rights to select data and, potentially, run functions or stored procedures, then the database security will prevent that kind of attack from succeeding.

I have a list of my parked items already. The last data that I need is who is currently viewing this item, in other words in whose workflow it is now. At the moment I am taking an MM one by one, open it it scanlog and then go to WFLog button and then check the user. I was also checking Workflow Cockpit but I could only find the filed: "last user" which most often was who parked this item. But there was not field as to who is it parked with.

I'm new to using web dynpro and Netweaver but our users would like to be able to have whatever attachments in Services for Objects also appear in the NWBC similar transaction attachments. For example IMA11 or IMA3N attachments in the attachment list. You mentioned you had to write your own CHIP to get the GOS objects in R/3 to also show up in your Side panel attachments. Can you please share how you went about doing that?

In case this might help someone else running on MS Office 2007 / MS Excel 2007, we installed the KB2920794 update, as suggested by Microsoft. Then, we installed the KB2984939 update. However, we had to reboot the computer twice before the patch took and the problem was resolved. One reboot was not sufficient.
I am not certain if the multiple reboots is connected to our environment / scenario or a Microsoft thing.
I did not have to do anything with the *.exd files.
I hope this is helpful for someone.

Part of the problem you may have is that not all IInfoObject objects have the same properties and there can be lots of nested properties. So I'm not sure that there's a direct way to "serialize" an IInfoObject into JSON. I'm sure someone here will correct me if I'm wrong, but you may have to write your own code that will convert the various types of IInfoObject into JSON "manually".
Also, there are new properties and object types in 4.x that aren't available in 3.x, so you would have to take that into account when writing your code.
