Re: Payment in Diff. Currency

Let me tell you thumb rule of GL Account currency.

1. If the GL Account currency is Company code currency, them you can make payments in any currency. This is SAP Standard.

2. If the GL Account currency is other than the Company code currency, then you can make payments / transactions in that currency only. This is SAP Standard. In your case it is USD. So you can't make the payments in USD only.

Solutions:

Use a different account for payments.

Change the Account currency from USD to INR if the transactions are not done to that GL Account.
