How to Backup and Restore of BI4 Content?

I am looking for specific advice on how you really back and up and restore content such as webis and dashboards published in the BI launchpad.

We use Tivoli to perform DB2 database backups of the CMS and ADT database and file store-D:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\FileStore

1. How to restore just a specific document that was deleted or changed?
   1. We do not want to restore the entire database. 
2. When deleting a document from bi launch pad, then restoring the filesotre folder, it does not appear in BI launch pad. Is there a program that scans filestore to update the CMS database?
3. Can Promotion Manager be used reliably toschedule backups and restore content?
