CIF Transfer retail stores to SCM

Hi Gurus,

IS Retail ECC 6.0

SCM 7.02

Can someone please shed some light on the best possible way to transfer retail stores (location type: 1040) to SCM through the integration model?

Do they go through the Customer IM?

We have an active Customer IM which has also brought in all the assigned/underlying Stores but as 1010 (and not as 1040) to SCM.
