Design Studio 1.1 report has a bex query source which has below variables.
Mandatory variale for "Fisc.yr.period"
Mandatory variable for "Estimate Period"(Reference of 0FISCPER)
Optional Variable for "Region"
I have created a Dimension Filter for all the above dimension in order to let the user choose different filters of choice and view results.
During Runtime, when the prompt popup shows, i enter some period, say 002.2013 for Fisc Yr period, 005.2013 for Estimate Period, Region - APAC, the report runs without any issue and crosstab is populated with the data of that period.
When i try to change the Region in Dim Filter, report runs fine without any issues.
But when i try to change the period to some other value, say, 004.2013 for Fisc yr period during runtime in Dim.Filter, it throws an exception error which is not understandable. Error is like "Action has resulted in an exception situation which cant be handled by the framework, the error log id is <few alphanumeric digits>."
Any suggestions on why it happens or how to rectify this.?
