Hi Irene,
This is a Windows issue, absolutely nothing related neither to SAP, neither to Business One.
Some time ago, MSFT added a check inside IE to not display content from unsecure sources and this include network share.
The only thing to do, is to make IE understand that your Intranet is secure....
Three ways, from the easiest to the trickiest:
- Right-click on the offending file and on the General Tab you should see un button labelled Unlock. Click on it, it should work.
- If you don't have the button, then... Adapt the security level of IE:
- Internet Options,
- Security Tab,
- Local Intranet,
- Sites,
- Advanced,
- And in the address bar you type file://ip.address.of.server (change with the real IP address
)
- If it still doesn't work... Last solution is editing the registry. You have to add the following subkey:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions]
"MaxAllowedZone"=dword:00000001
If it still doesn't work... The last solution is to copy the files locally to access them.
Regards,
Eric
