Hi Smita,
from my point of view, the steps 1-5 for configuring your modal dialog look good. Additionally, you need to add a Binding (in Controller view) where you use the data field in the structure (same as you bound to the query parameter and used in the inport).
In the embedded component, you do not need to add a binding, instead, you need
- to create an Outport, with parameter binding to "ProductProductID"
- create an event handler that fires the Outport
- for the link, that should trigger the modal dialog, this event handler needs to be added as "onClick" event
- add a modal dialog, select your modal dialog and in the Bindings Configuration select on the source side the "ProductProductID" and on the target side the newly created binding. Additionally, on the Navigations Configuration tab, add a Navigation where you select the outport of the embedded component and the Inport of your modal dialog and bind the parameters.
